A days relaxed paddling in the bay surrounding
Herceg Novi. This trip takes in Rose, the
submarine tunnels and Dobrec beach. Rose is a
small Mediterranean fishing village with houses
lined up on the front of the quay well protected
from the winds. Dobrec is one of only 2 EU blue
flag beaches in the Boka and is accessible only by
sea. Distance 8 km. (Beginner to Advanced)

 After an easy 2
hour paddle you arrive at the Isle of Mamula. The island has an
Austro-Hungarian 19th C fort on it. Now disused you will swim and
explore the island and enjoy a lesuirely lunch. A short paddle after
lunch to the beach Mirista and coffee and drinks at the Olive Grove
Restaurant before paddling back into the sunset to Herceg Novi.

You will paddle downriver until you enter Skadar Lake, the last habitat of the pelicans
in Europe, the biggest bird reservation in Europe, one of the last
freshwater marshes in the Mediterranean and the largest freshwater
lake in Europe. This kayak journey has been tailored for both beginners
and accomplished paddlers. Our main ambition is to allow you to
discover this amazing country.
